Good food, service excellent, owner very chatty & friendly. Very relaxed. Great place to meet friends or even go on your own. Situated near Glasson dock marina. So a nice view of the boats. 4 of us dined and selected different dishes, all food was enjoyable. Only one tiny criticism, plates needed warming to help food stay hotter for slow eater like myself, but don't let this put you off. Well worth a visit.

A great cafe with the warmest of welcomes. Seating options inside and out and we always book just to be on the safe side as it’s a 40 minute walk from home. A wide choice of breakfast options, lunches, sandwiches and homemade cakes and desserts. Dog friendly (Betty’s favourite) and they even offer you a plate of sausage cuts to keep the dogs happy. Lovely staff, clean premises and lots of regulars due to the quality of good and value for money. As a group of 6 we had full breakfasts, bacon butties, scrambled eggs, teas and coffees and every plate was empty! Highly recommended

Called at this cafe on Sunday. It was very busy as it was such a lovely day. The staff were pleasant and helpful as always even though it was so busy. We have been here before and I cannot recommend it enough, the staff are lovely as is the service and the food is always delicious. The cakes and coffee are to die for too. It is also dog friendly and they get their own sausage free.

Can’t fault anything about lunch today. We had a Jacket Potato each from the Specials board, Caramelised Onion, Peas, Sausage and cheese, topped with Crispy Onions and Gravy , the picture doesn’t do it justice, was very good and the kids had Jacket Potato with Cheese and Beans and Chicken Strips, again both very good. Staff were great and very clean and well run and can see why it gets busy.

What an absolute gem of a cafe. We were nearly put off by the scaffolding outside but are so glad we decided to go in. A lovely warm welcome followed by genuinely friendly service. We both had breakfast which was served very quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs. Brilliant little place

The veggie potato cake stack with extra mushrooms hit the spot today. This is always a friendly cafe and they offer a fantastic veggie selection of food. This is one that is worth going out of your way for!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, had the home made beef and onion pie, gravy and chips. It was tasty. The kids had sausages which were also nice. Atmosphere and service was top notch. We managed to walk in as a group of 7, but it was busy, I think we got lucky it does seem you can reserve tables.

Beautiful little cafe, fast and friendly service, the staff make you feel at home and always greet with a smile when you walk in. Fantastic food, always top tier, can really tell all the girls there are a hard working group. Eggs Benedict with extra sauce, bacon butty with black pudding added on the side as requested and of course a mars bar brownie for the road. 5/5 stars all round
